| Once kids discover pretend play, they often like playing dress-up. Both boys and girls enjoy wearing special costumes or accessories. Usually you end up buying a bunch of really expensive dress-ups that get played with for a week before they go out of your child's own special sense of style. I've discovered that when my son and I make a costume together he comes back to it again and again. Here are some of the more successful projects we've tried:
