This is a classic cheap toy for babies. Try it with or without water. I think it works best if you have an interesting bottle- Fanta has a cool shape.Use different shaped objects that will work differently when shaken. If you aren't filling it with water, include a feather and some beads for example. If you do plan on filling it with water, try bits of foam, sponge and plastic beads- they will all float differently.

1. Stick things into the clean bottle.
2. If you want to fill the bottle with water, do so.
3. screw the lid back on the bottle
4. Use duct tape to cover the bottle cap and top portion of the bottle. This will
prevent kids from unscrewing the lid. You can also use waterproof glue if
you have some on hand.

Show bubs how to shake, roll and swirl the bottle so they can see the things inside move.
