Tiffany Cavanaugh Paper Plate Masks

1. Cut eye holes in a paper plate
2. Punch a hole about 2 centimetres from the edge of the plate
3. Repeat step two directly opposite from the first hole
4. Have the kids decorate their mask however they want
(abstract, animal, person etc.) using paint and collage materials if the kids can wait until they are dry before playing with them or using only markers if they are quite keen on playing immediately.

Additional ideas:
**Encourage kids to put on a show using their masks
**add to the excitement of playing dressups by making tails and props
